Jordan Cullen joins Johnson County Livable Community Policy Board

img-logoThe Johnson County Board of Supervisors recently appointed Jordan Cullen to the Livable Community Policy Board. Jordan is a Client Service Director with HomeChoice Senior Care and a graduate from the University of Iowa’s School of Social Work. Jordan works with the clients and caregivers at HomeChoice Senior Care to ensure they are safely and successfully aging in their community. He is a member of the ADRC Advisory Council and an active participant with the Older Iowan’s Legislature.

The Johnson County Livable Community is an initiative of the Johnson County Board of Supervisors. JDLC partners with business, organizations, professionals and volunteers to address and facilitate personal independence and an active civic and social engagement for Johnson County senior residents.

Remembering When: A Fire and Fall Prevention Program for Older Adults

Christina Djerf of HomeChoice Senior Care will be participating as part of a Cedar Rapids, Iowa team traveling to Orlando, Florida for a special training conference called Remembering When™: A Fire and Fall Prevention Program for Older Adults. The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) selected teams from 30 communities across the United States and Canada to travel to Orlando for the training.
